Splash
Which champion is in this splash art?
The image zooms out after each miss
About Splash Mode
In Splash Mode, a heavily zoomed-in crop of a League of Legends splash art hides the day's champion — and the art can come from any skin, from the classic one to the latest release. With every miss, the zoom pulls back a little more.
LoL's splash arts are among the most beautiful illustrations in gaming, and this mode tests how closely you look at them: a piece of armor texture, a sliver of scenery or a magic effect can be enough to call the champion.
When you get it right, the full art is revealed along with the skin's name — and you can even try to guess which skin it is before the reveal.
Frequently asked questions
Can the crop come from any skin?
Yes. The draw considers every skin of the champion with a valid splash art, so knowing the skins helps a lot.
How much does the zoom open with each miss?
A little with every wrong guess, progressively revealing more of the illustration until it becomes recognizable.
Where do the images come from?
From Riot Games' official public CDN (Data Dragon), the same one the game client uses — nothing is rehosted.
