About Guess the Champ

What it is

Guess the Champ is a free collection of daily guessing minigames about the games we love: League of Legends, Valorant, Clash Royale and Minecraft. The idea is simple and addictive — every day there's a new challenge, the same one for every player on the planet, and you try to find the answer in as few tries as possible.

The format is inspired by Wordle and LOLdle, but it was born with two obsessions of its own: to be genuinely made in Brazilian Portuguese and to bring several games and several modes together in one place. Instead of a single puzzle, there are dozens of modes — from the classic attribute grid to emoji, splash art, item recipes and map geography.

Why it exists

This is a fan project, run by one person who has played these titles for years. It started as a wish to have, in Portuguese, the same daily hit of nostalgia and knowledge that games like LOLdle offer — and grew to embrace four different universes on top of a single daily-challenge engine.

The rule never changes: the game comes before the revenue. No login, no paywall, no intrusive pop-ups. The site sustains itself with discreet ads and the support of people who enjoy what we make — nothing that gets in the way of the ritual of opening, playing and coming back tomorrow.

How the answers are generated

Each day's challenge isn't hand-picked by anyone: it's drawn deterministically from the date, with an algorithm that runs identically in everyone's browser. That's why the day's champion, agent, card or mob is the same for a player in São Paulo and one in Tokyo, and rolls over at midnight UTC.

The game data comes from public, official sources — Riot's CDN (Data Dragon) for LoL, the open databases of each game — and goes through manual curation for the modes that need human taste, like each character's emoji sequence. Your progress, streaks and stats are saved in your browser only; nothing is sent to a server in any identifiable form.

Guess the Champ is an independent, fan-made project, and it is not endorsed, sponsored or affiliated with Riot Games, Supercell or Mojang/Microsoft. All trademarks, characters and images belong to their respective owners and are used in compliance with each company's fan content policy. The site's own name, logo and code are our own work.
