About Build Mode
In Build Mode, the component tree of a League of Legends item is the day's riddle. The structure is visible from the start — how many components, in what arrangement — but the pieces are hidden: every miss reveals one component, from basic items up to intermediates.
The challenge is to recognize the final item before the recipe completes itself. Guesses that share a component with the answer light up in amber — the clue that you're on the right track (the same 🟦🟨⬛ grammar as the share grid).
Once the tree runs out, extra hints kick in: the item's total price and its official shop description. The daily item is the same for every player and changes at midnight (UTC).

Which items are in the pool?
Purchasable final items of Summoner's Rift with a complete shop recipe. Items without a shop recipe (starters and quest items) stay out of this mode's pool.
In what order are components revealed?
From basic items to intermediates, cheapest to priciest — generic components come first, and the ones that give it away come last.
What does an amber guess mean?
That your item shares at least one component (at any level of the tree) with the day's secret item.
