About Geo Mode

Geo is a GeoGuessr set inside League of Legends. The screen shows a photo captured from some spot on Summoner's Rift, and your answer isn't a name but a place: you drop a pin on the minimap exactly where you think the shot was taken.

Winning comes down to reading terrain. The Rift is symmetrical by design, which fools you at first glance, but every lane has its signature: the bend of the river, the shape of the tri-brush, the mouth of the Baron pit, the Dragon in the bottom pit, the slope of the ramps up to the towers. Anyone who has walked these paths thousands of times reads the biome in the details.

Your misses are your hints, and they stay etched on the map. An amber marker says you landed near the target; a neutral one says you were way off. Both carry an arrow pointing toward the right spot, so each attempt nudges the next pin closer to the exact point.

You can pinch to enlarge the minimap and aim carefully before locking in. The riddle is refreshed once a day and arrives the same for every summoner, which makes comparing who pinned the spot in fewer tries part of the fun.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to hit the exact pixel?

No. Each challenge has a hit radius around the correct point; dropping the pin anywhere inside that circle already counts as a win. Any spare precision just becomes a bragging tiebreaker.

What are the marker arrows for?

To steer your next guess. Each marker's arrow points toward the target relative to that pin, so you only have to correct your heading and shorten the distance with every attempt.

Does the mode cover maps beyond the Rift?

In the LoL cartridge, for now, only Summoner's Rift. In Valorant, Geo has two stages: first you identify which map you're on, then you pin the exact spot within it.
