About Emoji Mode
Emoji turns each League of Legends champion into a tiny rebus. Instead of stats, you get a row of symbols that sums up the character's identity — their legend, their kit, their vibe — and you have to read between the icons to land on the name.
The sequence is built in rising order of hints: the first emoji is the most abstract and each following one grows more explicit. You see only one at the start, and every miss unlocks the next. Cracking Runeterra with one or two clues earns you the bragging rights; needing the whole row still closes out the day.
Every set is hand-curated, champion by champion. The idea is to reward people who know the game's universe inside out — the lore origin, the visual theme of the abilities, the nicknames and jokes the community coined. A 🐟 might point to a fishing village; a 🎣, to the ultimate that hooks an enemy.
Because it hinges on reading symbols, it's the fastest mode and the easiest to fire off as a screenshot to friends. Since everyone gets the exact same row, the comparison is fair: you can see who spotted the champion instantly and who only clicked on the final emoji.

How is the emoji order decided?
From most abstract to most literal. The first symbols demand that you know the champion's lore or kit; the last ones practically spell out the name. You only unlock the next one by missing.
Can the same emoji appear on several champions?
It can. A 🗡️ fits dozens of assassins and a 🔥 plenty of mages, but what identifies the champion is the complete row, which is unique to each one.
Is there a practice mode after the daily?
Yes. Once the day's champion is done, you can request one-off rounds with random characters just for fun, without touching your streak or the official result.
