About Craft Mode
In Craft Mode, a Minecraft crafting recipe shows up almost fully hidden: you see the amount it produces and a single ingredient. Every miss reveals one more — guess the item the recipe makes.
It's the ultimate test for anyone who has spent hours at the crafting table: three iron and two sticks in a cross? Eight obsidian around a book? If you recognize the recipe's shape, you can call it with one or two ingredients on the board.
The pool is a curated set of 150+ classic crafting-table recipes (no furnace), with the oak variant as canonical. Like the other modes, the item is the same for everyone and changes at midnight (UTC).
Frequently asked questions
In what order do ingredients appear?
In the grid's reading order (left to right, top to bottom), always the same for everyone — one new ingredient per wrong guess.
Do furnace recipes enter the draw?
No — crafting-table (shaped) recipes only. Smelting, smithing and shapeless recipes stay out of the mode.
Is the output amount a hint?
Yes, and it's visible from the start: producing 4 already rules out a lot (planks? sticks? stairs?).
