How the Guess the Champ daily challenge works
Every day, Guess the Champ offers a single challenge per mode — and it's exactly the same for every player in the world. Here's how this 'daily' format works, why the answer is identical everywhere, and what happens at midnight.
What a daily Wordle-style game is
The idea started with Wordle and spread through gaming fans: instead of an endless game you binge, it's a single puzzle a day. You solve it, celebrate (or suffer), share the result without spoilers and come back the next day. Scarcity is the charm — you can't 'use up' the game, and that's exactly why it becomes a habit.
Guess the Champ brings that format to the game universes you already know. In place of a word, the day's secret is a League of Legends champion, a Valorant agent, a Clash Royale card or a Minecraft mob — and each mode has its own clue mechanic.
Why the answer is the same for everyone
The day's answer isn't chosen by an editor or drawn on a server. It's computed deterministically from the date: the same algorithm runs in your browser and in anyone else's, and since the input (today) is the same, the output (the secret champion) is too.
In practice, that means a player in Recife and another in Lisbon face exactly the same puzzle on the same day. That's what makes it social: you can compare how many tries each of you needed, knowing everyone had the same difficulty.
The midnight (UTC) reset
The challenge rolls over at midnight UTC — the universal reference time zone. In Brazil (UTC−3) that happens at 9 PM; in Portugal, at midnight or 1 AM depending on daylight saving. We picked UTC precisely so the turnover is simultaneous for everyone, with no 'privileged' time zone.
When the clock turns, a new champion, agent, card or mob replaces the previous one in each mode, and your streak counter waits for your visit. Missed a day? The streak resets — the price of a game that lives on coming back.
Streaks, stats and privacy
Each daily win feeds your day streak and your per-mode stats. All of it is kept in your browser only, via local storage — no account, no email, and nothing leaves your device in any identifiable form. Switching browsers or clearing the site's data resets the history.
After solving the day's challenge, some modes unlock practice with random answers, so you can keep playing without affecting the streak. The official challenge stays one per day — the part everyone shares.

No. The day streak is saved in your own browser, with no sign-up. Just come back every day on the same device and browser to keep it alive.
What happens if I play several modes?
Each mode has its own independent daily challenge and its own stats. You can finish a game's whole day by solving all of its active modes, one by one.
